Guess I never blogged about Costa Rica! We had 2 good weeks with a variety of experiences from farm (complete with log burning oven & hot tub and candle lighting throughout and oxen cart working the fields) to the all-inclusive with swim up bars. You can see my photos here. There are even more photos if you are a glutton for punishment. I uploaded the photos before I got my new computer - so it took FOREVER. I got pretty burned out after processing, editing, uploading, and annotating the photos as usual after a trip so I don't actually do any additional writing about the trip as most of it is there with the photos. And photos are worth a 1000 words anyway right? Love my new computer by the way (other than the fact that it sits on a desk and not in my lap).

I'm always interested to see what people have been "viewing" over at my flickr account. This image has been getting a few views every day recently. I don't know why. Q and I had fun setting it up. The daily challenge that day was "truck". You can see a faint Q flying in the news helicopter. So far it has been viewed 128 times.

Why does UPS insist on holding off delivering for the full 7 days promised with ground? My new computer arrived less than 10 miles away on the afternoon of the 5th but isn't scheduled to be delivered until the 8th. Wouldn't they have happier customers if they delivered "early" (especially as I can see that my package is just sitting there which is frustrating)? Guess it gives me time to try to clear off that desk...

Here is the effort of the first 6 days of the May challenge over at photochallenge.org - a letter of the alphabet each day. Most people are photographing regular letters but I've always wanted to do an ABC of found objects so this is a good start.
